Here's the finished piece. I decided that from a design point of view it was better to cut away the border and also the ground with the birds as well. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out - especially for a fairly quick papercut - about 8 hours of cutting in total. I've been playing around with it in photoshop - it looks nice in blue too.

Such delicacy and intricacy never fails to amaze me. I could never do what you do. If I made a slip at the very last minute I would be in despair...lol. I must say the blue one is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty strong paper actually - despite being very thin. I couldn't have done this when I first started out - it's taken a couple of years - so no giving up! x
