Letter 'K' and Rabbit drawing

I finished my letter 'K' papercut and in the meantime I drew out a topiary rabbit which I'm looking forward to cutting.  My letters are available for purchase on Not On The High Street, Etsy and Folksy - whichever is your cuppa tea and I'm also going to make them available as prints as I gradually build up the alphabet.  Could take all year! Exciting News!

So I've been keeping this under my hat for quite a while, but now I'm finally allowed to talk about it.  I've been commissioned to do the artwork for the poster for The Lord Mayor's Show - this is a pretty big deal!  The poster will go up in London Tubes and also on various bus stops in the city in the autumn as the show is in November.  It's definitely the most high profile job I've ever been commissioned to do - so I'm really excited. 

I can't show you any sneaky peeks of the artwork, and it's not finished yet anyway!  But as soon as it's all done I'll definitely be putting it up on here.

Papercut Initials

I've started a new drawing for another papercut intial.  I'll be demonstrating the cutting of this piece at the Watersemeet Theatre Gallery on Thursday 12th July from around 12 noon if you're interested in seeing how it all happens.  Come and say hello.

Dove papercut

I've been working on a Dove papercut and just finished it today.  I'm pretty pleased with the finished result.  It turned out much better than I expected!

Artistsmeet Exhibition at the Watersmeet Theatre

I spent a very lovely few hours this morning setting up my little exhibition at the Watersmeet Theatre in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire.  The exhibition is running for July and August and is in the foyer of the theatre. I'll be demonstrating the art of papercutting on Thursday 12th July at 1pm and at 6pm.  If you're in the neighbourhood, please do pop in and take a peek!
